"Orient Gallery in Amman and Art Residence Aley in Beirut are cosponsoring an exhibition titled "Syrian Art in Hard Times". Seven Syrian artists will take part in this exhibition: Adnan Abd El Rahman, Hasko Hasko, Rabee Kiwan, Husien Tarabieh, Khaled Al Boushi, Remy Haddad and Mohamad Omran. In contrast to mainstream media reports, the exhibition seeks to provide a different perspective on the Syrian crisis from the creative minds of those living it. Through the lens of the artists, the exhibition shows how war has discoloured Syria. Despite their bruises, the art speaks out: we are very much alive!"

"يقيم دار المشرق وبالتعاون مع دار الإقامة الفنية في عاليه في بيروت معرض تحتعنوان "الفن السوري في زمن صعب". يشارك في المعرض سبعة فنانين سوريينهم: عدنان عبد الرحمن، حسكو حسكو، ربيع كيوان، حسين طربيه، خالدالبوشي، ريمي حداد، ومحمد عمران. يحاول هذا المعرض، بالمقارنة مع أخبار وسائل الإعلام الرئيسية،أن يوفروجهة نظر مختلفة للأزمة السورية من خلال العقول الإبداعية لأولئك الذينيعيشون هذه الأزمة. فمن خلال عدسة الفنانين، يظهر المعرض كيف أدتالحرب إلى إخفاء ألوان سوريا وإزالتها. وبالرغم من المعاناة والألم، يصرخ الفنعالياً: نحن أحياء نرزق!"
