فن الطباعة هو البصمة الأولى التي تم تسجيلها في تاريخ الانسان على جدران الكهوف، وهو الانطلاقة الأساسية في طباعة الكتب وانتشارها.  انه فن متطور، لا يتقيد بالتقنيات ولا الأدوات. لذلك أعتقد أن هذا الفن قد وفر لي حرية واسعة في إطلاق العنان لمخيلتي وإنجاز الكثير من الأعمال الفنية بمفاهيم جديدة.  إنه ببساطة "فن التقنية".

خلال 33 عامًا من حياتي مع فن الطباعة اليدوية، حاولت البحث لكشف بعض من أسرارها….  هذا الفن الذي لم يحظى بشعبية في منطقتنا بعد على مستوى الفنان والجمهور. لقد لاحظت مع الوقت أن محبي الفن لا يتقبلون أعمال الطباعة اليدوية الورقية بسهولة، حيث يتم تقييمها بمقارنتها بالأعمال الزيتية.  لذلك لا يجد الفنانون بدا الا من التراجع عن هذا الفن مع الوقت.

حاولت في هذا المعرض تقديم رؤية حديثة تظهر جماليات اللون الأسود ودرجاته وتداخلاته مع الألوان الأخرى في بناء تكويني تمتزج فيه تقنيات الطباعة اليدوية المختلفة في تناغم يكاد يشعرك أنك أمام لوحة زيتية متقنة.

أنا أعتبر مساهمتي المتواضعة في هذا المعرض محاولة لتقديم الطباعة على نطاق أوسع وخلق فرص لتذوقها والتمتع بها.

The art of printing is a neo-ancient art initiated by man since the era of the caves; when man stamped his hand on walls. It is the "Art of Technique."  It is a renewable and boundless art regarding its technique, it coincides all the new technical developments thus enriching it. Dealing with this kind of art requires a continuous follow-up to all the new developments in this field.  The technique is not just restricted to the tools used, printing provides the artist with vast freedom to innovate and renovate his own tools by himself in order to accomplish all the works of art in his mind with new concepts.

During 33 years of my life with the art of handmade printmaking, I have been privy to a lot of its secrets and charms . . . this art that is not yet popular in our region at the artists and audience levels.  I have noticed by time that art lovers do not accept handmade printmaking easily, as it is evaluated in comparison to oil paintings. Therefore, handmade printmakers find it necessary to back off.

In this exhibition, I am presenting a modern vision that shows the aesthetics of black color and its graduation in harmony with other colors, while using various handmade print techniques.

I consider my humble contribution to this exhibition as an attempt to present this art on a larger scale and to create opportunities to savor and enjoy it.
