Suheil Baddor adopts the academic concept of the abstract expressionist school, leaning towards surrealism sometimes. He is a supporter of expressionism. It is the school that examines the inside of the artist, the internal worlds. Suheil has been working on the topics of women and music for more than six years. Women is always featured in Suheil's art work since he feels that the woman is the most beautiful; she is the widest and most expansive space for love, giving, and fertility; she is the mother, she is the lung of the universe, its earth, and trees. Suheil feels that the great artist Fateh Moudarres, who was a master, a brother, a friend, and a teacher to him, has definitely left his imprint on his artistic experience. But after years now, he feels that, no one inspires him anymore, and truly there is only what is engraved in his soul, in his days, and his mother's face.

" الفنان سهيل بدور يعمل بالمفهوم الأكاديمي في المدرسة التعبيرية التجريدية والتي تميل إلى السريالية أحياناً. وهو من مناصري التعبيرية. هذه المدرسة التي تعتني بداخل الإنسان بعوالم الداخلية. ويعمل على المرأة والموسيقى منذ أكثر من 6 سنوات. المرأة دائماً في أعماله لأنها الأجمل ولأنها المساحة الوسعه للحب والعطاء والخصب ولأنها الأم بكل ما للكلمة من معنى، هي باختصار رئة الكون وترابه وشجره. يقول الفنان سهيل بدور "إن الفنان الكبير فاتح المدرس كان أستاذاً وأخاً وصديقاً ومعلماً وترك الكثير من أثره في التجربة الفنية السورية وأنا منهم". بعد كل هذه السنين الطويلة في تجربته للفن بدت الأمور وكأنها تسير بشيء من الآلية والحرفية. لم يعد هناك من يلهمه وليس لديه بصدق سوى ما هو مخزون في روحه ودفاتر أيامه ووجه أمه."
