في خفايا الأفق أسرار ... أَنْصِت
تقدم رُبا أبو شوشة في معرضها الشخصي الثاني ما يحمله الأفق في ثناياه من أسرار وتجليات للمتفكر، ذلك الأفق القريب البعيد...
تعكس أعمال رُبا الصلة الروحية بين الأرض والسماء بامتدادات أفقية وعمودية، تخفي في تداخلاتها رموزاً لحروف تنسج الارتباط الأرضي بالعلوي، الحياة الأرضية التي يعيشها الانسان في عالمنا اليومي، وذلك ما مثلته الخطوط المستقيمة والزوايا، التي ترمز إلى كل القوانين التي تحكم حياة الإنسان والنواميس الحاكمة للكون. أما ما يخفف من وطأة تلك الصرامة الكونية، يتمثل في كل ما يرنو إلى أفق جديد عبر إدخال تقاطعات هندسية بألوان، تارة متناغمة وتارة متضادة، كأنها الموسيقى في المكان، لتنصت الى خفايا وآيات عبر جملة ..كلمة ..حرف.
في هذا الأفق ...
أرتقي بحثاً عن الروح في فضاء ما وراء ذلك الأفق، في ذاك الأفق.
أسلك طريقاً على مَرْأَى العين، ليس بعيد المنال للمتأمل ...
مسافة حرف، مسافة خط، ذلك هو الأفق القريب البعيد. أفق يتوهج في هذا المعرض ليحكي رواية العودة من خلال الخطوط الأفقية المتراقصة، فتمتد ... وتتواصل ... ثم تتشابك ... لتنسج في النهاية ذلك التناغم ذو التوازن والوحدة.

Her landscapes depict a spiritual connection between the ground and the sky in a horizontal and vertical forms that hide within their intersections, symbols of script embellishments that reflect the earthy connection we have with our world. These all represent the laws and rules that firmly govern the lives of people and the universe. To soften this cosmic strictness, she represents a new perspective, by adding linear elements that tend to have a sort of musicality through their movements. From the combination of forms and the concepts represented, one can search for one's spirit within the hidden messages of the horizon.
In the horizon, there is a way back not far from sight, within the space of a letter, the distance of a line, near yet far, where the dancing horizontal lines tell the story of the return, by drawing lines and connecting them to weave a harmony in balance and unity.
