Yazan Salman
In this exhibition artist Yazan Salman presents a contemporary look at the Ain Ghazal statues, which were his visual reference points. The archaeological importance of the statues is their benchmark on the gender level in the historical era of human civilization of the time. Considered a turning point marking the transformation from the age of the mother to the commencement of a patriarchal society, these works portray social conflict by demonstrating a parody between the postures assumed by the statues, in sequence, and the latent gentleness of their features. They hint at a decline of the era of the female goddess and the rise of male dominance. 

يزن سلمان
يقدم الفنان يزن سلمان في هذا المعرض تماثيل عين غزال بوصفها مرجعاً بصرياً بالمقام الأول، كونها تحمل أهمّية أركيولوجية تشكّل علامة فارقة على المستوى الجندري لتلك الحقبة التاريخية من عمر الحضارة الإنسانية، حيث أنها تعدّ نقطة تحول ما بين العصر الأمومي وبداية تشكل البناء البطرياركيّ للمجتمع. تصوّر هذه الأعمال الفنية الصراع المتمثل بالوضعيات التي تتخذها التماثيل بالتسلسل لتُناقض الوداعة الكامنة في ملامحها، وتشي بهذا الأفول لعصر الآلهة المؤنثة وبداية الانقلاب الذكوري عليها
