" This time around I have let myself go, in full spontaneity without following a pre-set program. I have truly and completely surrendered myself to the moment, to the child in me…My hands moved freely and the colors poured on the canvas instinctively. The lines are rough and deliberately not elegant, and the colors move on surfaces resembling antiquated walls, as if this child in me is playing or messing with the mud walls of the houses in the first city I grew up in, Zarqa, blending with my second city, Amman. It is my muse and is featured in all my paintings, directly or indirectly. I had said of my previous exhibition at the Orient Gallery in 2005 that art is a form of organized playfulness; six years later, I am very happy to present my own experience with this at that same gallery, and to say that the more we mature in art, or so we think, the more we need our childhood, for the wonderful innocence it offers.

".. اجتهدت هذه المرة أن أشتغل بعفوية وبدون برنامج مُسبق، استسلمت للحالة بكل عفوية وصدق، حاولت أن أستسلم للطفل الذي بداخلي .. كانت يدي تتحرك بحرية وألواني تنسكب على السطح بشكلٍ فطري، خطوط معظمها خشنة لا تتعمد الأناقة وألوان تتحرك على مساحات تشبه الجدران العتيقة وكأن هذا الطفل ( أنا ) يلعب أو يعبث على جدران البيوت الطينية التي نشأ فيها في مدينته الأولى " الزرقاء "، ثم امتزجت فيما بعد في مدينتي عمان، ملهمتي التي تسكن كل لوحاتي بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر، سبق لي و قلت في معرضي السابق في " المشرق " 2005 أن الفن هو أحد أشكال اللهو المُنظم، بعد ستة سنوات سأكون سعيداً ً في ذات الجاليري لأعرض هذه التجربة والتي سأقول عنها: أننا كلما نضجنا في الفن أو هكذا نعتقد، نظل بحاجة لطفولتنا، للبراءة الأولى."
