"The reservoir of memories which the artist Maha Khoury draws upon is the source of the most up-to-date connotation in the composition of artwork. The crowds move through colliding with each other to project the impression of a frightened herd that defends itself by merging together to form a mass of humanity that is reflected as a powerful presence in a graphical surface area. They are people of a timeless era whose location is carried through their bags and in their imagination and travels.
