Ghassan Abulaban (Jordan)

Ghassan Abu Laban was born in 1964, Bethlehem, Jordan. In 1988 he received his BFA in painting and drawing at Yarmouk University, Jordan. He is currecntly a private instructor of drawing and painting as well as an art critic. He has received several awards including the firstprize in Don Quijote’s Painting Contest, Cervantes Institute, Amman, Jordan 1999, the second prize in Lurca's Centenary Contest, Cervantes Institute, Amman, Jordan  1998, the first prize in Youth Arts Painting Contest, Spanish Cultural Center, Amman, Jordan 1988. He has held several solo exhbiitions in Jordan and has pariticpated in serval gorup exhibitons all over the region and the world.
