Hakim Jamaeen (Jordan)

Hakim Jamain was born in Wadi El Seer, Jordan in 1965.  He received his BA in Arts from Milan Fine Arts Academy, Italy. In 1995 he received a post diploma degree from CovaArtSchool, Milan, Italy. Between 1997 and 2005 he lived in the Hague, Holland where he studied architectural art and also specialized in print making at The HagueRoyalAcademy. He has held several solo exhibitions in Jordan, Holland and Italy and has participated in many group exhibitions all over the world. He has written three books about graphic art. In 2006 he received the selected prize at the 12th International Biennial for Printing and Drawing, R.O.C, in 2005 he received the first prize at the Annual Exhibition of Jordanian Artists Association, Amman, and in 2004 he received the second prize, International Graphic Competition (Corneallo), Italy.
